The winner receives the title “Sonuscore Composer of the Year 2022” plus exclusive prizes and special attention by the Sonuscore team.
The grand prize is a live orchestra recording session for a composition up to 90 seconds of the winner’s choice. It will be played by a
63-piece orchestra including Brass, Strings and more. Additionally, the winner gets a 50% discount on every new Sonuscore release in 2022 and a €200 store voucher for the Sonuscore Online Store, eligible for all original Sonuscore Phrases, Origins & Solo series products*.
HOW TO ENTER AS A COMPOSER
Compose new original music for a short version of the trailer for Tellurian and show us the creativity that’s in you!
Download the video file below the embedded video player, add your music to it and submit your version of the video with your composition to us.
If you want to adjust sound effects and voiceovers to match with your composition, you can use the added assets in the download.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO
- You should first prepare your video in a common format, such as .mp4 or .mov.
- Make sure to use our naming convention: COTY2022_FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME
(For example: If your name were John Doe, then your submitted .mp4 video file would look like this: COTY2022_JOHN_DOE.mp4) - Finally, go to wetransfer.com, a completely free file transfer service that doesn’t even require an account. On the left-hand side, you’ll see a widget where you can upload your file with the “Add your files” button.
- Type in our email (contest@sonuscore.com), then your email, and click on transfer.
- That’s it! You’ve officially entered the contest. All submissions will be confirmed.
RULES & CONDITIONS
A cut-down version of the trailer of Tellurian is given to the participants in high resolution. Each participant will have to compose the original music for the video. The composition must be solely original to the composer. Each composer must deliver the video file synchronised with their new composition. Sonuscore’s team of composers will review the submissions and select up to 10 finalists whose videos will be subject to public voting.
